Amy and I are planning to explore the Lower Coyote Canyon area of Anza Borrego this weekend (page 167 of Wells' CA Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails).  We'd love to have company.  Depending on the water level of Coyote Creek, we may have to explore another area close by.  We are planning to camp Saturday night at the campground at the end of the Lower Coyote Canyon trail.
As of today, it looks like weather should be good- 30% chance of scattered showers on Saturday and 70 degrees. The night will be cooler, around 51 degrees, and up to 78 on Sunday afternoon.
According to the book, this trail is moderate in difficulty.
Please respond to this post if interested- we could plan to meet around 11am on Saturday, and come off the trail sometime Sunday afternoon.
Thanks!

***Update 4/8: Since this was a last minute trip, I didn't expect many takers.  If you would like to meet up, call my cell at nine four nine, three three eight, one seven seven six.

You should be fine crossing the creek and getting all the way up the climb.  I did it last Saturday and the water line was about my door line and no probs at all.
