Here are a few of shots from today.

Yes, if you hike The Slot you do walk under that fractured leaning spire of sandstone. You try not to think about earthquakes.

Amazing pictures Frank!  Makes me feel like I was there.  In fact, I took to whispering when I saw the fractured leaning spire of sandstone.  Didn't want an echo to dislodge it.  [Yeah, I crack myself up.  LOL!]

Mike - I love this picture and the pano.  And excellent job on the video.

I wasn't sure how to embed the video.

Chad, I think if you just follow the link that Mike posted, the video is the last of the images in the series. That's how I found it.

If you have any picutes you want to share please post them here.

If anyone did get some pics or video from that section of the trail it would be nice to see them. Here's a shot from January of 2010.

There are more images from that day here:

Hey Chad is only video small enough to post here:
https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/AGCZ2GqUutmkLm_LDZdthA?feat=directlink

let me know if you can see it.  I have 2 much better ones that are longer and picasa wouldn't upload.
I am also working on a full montage video with some stills and video of the slot that I will post somehow!
