Can you weld certain parts under your x to make a posy or a locker type deal, the locker I purchased was the wrong spline size and arb doesnt make another one for my year. "04" 2wd v6 no super charge.

how does the 2WD x run?   I wouldn't get a full locker, you'll break lots of parts going around corners when both wheels are locked.  ... and you'll run out of tread very quickly...  you need to get a detroit locker which will automatically unlock the tires when you're going around corners...    My last truck was the prerunner Tacoma, it had a push button locker but even with that it was total garbage going up hills--It only helped out when one of my rear wheels was in the air...  how does your x perform up hills?  I'd think at least a little better than the tacoma with the added weight and shorter wheelbase.
