Trailer Plug Receptical
«

I wanted to give a thanks to Dan who on the last excursion to Anza Borrego pointed out to me that the trailer plug receptical was vulnerable to being torn off when off road. I noticed when I got home it was allready bent so today I cut off the bracket and shortened it and rewelded it up higher. It now sits up above the spare tire. If anyone would like help doing this to theirs just let me know, it only took about 30 min. to complete.

Much better to cut them off and tuck them up nice and high where it's safe.

Nice work Don. When I get my new bumper I'm going to have to find a place to put the connector since I will no longer have the trailer hitch.
