Rockford-Fosgate system?

I've torn apart the Bose system in the Z and there were two separate plugs and two separate amplifiers. I know there's an amp under the passenger's seat might check there for a loose connection before venturing toward the dash which comes apart really easy.

I only have one 200 amp under the pass. seat, a simple Kenwood CD player, 1- 12" sub.  Its the reg. 4 speakers that went kaput.

Yeah I could have figured that if I read that you've got the 2000 model.  Undecided

The subwoofer has its own dedicated amplifier - or amplifier channels on that amp under the seat. Commonly a four channel amplifier has the ability to use two channels to drive the door speakers and the other two channels are bridged together to drive the subwoofer.

Just went over everything on the stereo rechecked speaker wiring and the problem persist.  I think its the head unit itself that went bad.  Its OK 'cause it gives me an excuse to upgrade to a Double-Din with the reversing camera.

Funny thing, the stereo is working again, then when I shut it off and turn it back on, nothing.  I lose all four speakers except the sub.  Then I turn it off and they come back on.  Seems like an internal head unit issue.  Any thoughts?

Ok, ended up getting a Boss BV9515B double-din DVD player from Crutchfield to fix the problem but no dice.  Had them send me another head unit and nothing.  Ended up taking it to Al & Ed's Autosound to troubleshoot it and finish the install and it turns out that the front speakers were frozen.  At least now I got tunes and movies for the kids.
