Just place my order for the single-style NXRocks® Rock Sliders this morning. The X's first mod...let the cash flow begin!

Great news Phil, you won't be disappointed. I just sprayed mine with bedliner and hope to mount them next weekend!
You will love these for sure! It took about 3 1/2 weeks from order to delivery, and the quality and instructions from Remy are first class. I went with the solid sliders too, and they are stout!

NXRocks sliders primed and bedlined. Going to get a gun metal gray duplicolor and spray over the bedliner and then the wheels to match next. Remy's making me a set of NXRocks® Rock Sliders too!

Thanks, I'm excitied about getting these. After all, first mod! Actually, these are really going to fit the bill by providing some added protection to a pretty vunerable area of the vehicle and also fulfilling the wife's request for an assist step. I really didn't want to throw $200-$300 down on a set of flimsy, tube step-rails. As you said, these things are built from quality steel and should take a ton of punishment.
I talked to Remy about his experience with color for these and since my rig is Night Armor I was thinking of a 2-step Duplicolor paint process...(1) Self-etching primer, (2) WP 102 Graphite Wheel Coating. The Truck Bed Coating would be more durable probably but since they are both rattle can, either should be easy enough to touck-up.
Anyway, just waiting now. Should arrive around May 21.

NXROCKS rocks!!!
Wow, my hat's off to Remy. The sliders arrived last Friday, a full week earlier than Remy originally said to expect them. They are awesome. I'm holding off painitng them right now because the Xterra is in the body shop having about $1,600 worth of right front bumper and fender work done and the hood replaced due to the wife's little mishap on the freeway last week.
Just as soon as I get the X back I will get busy and post up some pics of the project. I think I'm going to start with just using the Duplicolor Truck Bedliner and see how that looks. Anyway, more to follow.

You know I'm stoked, even right now. I am really impressed with the construction quality. Beefy materials, quality hardware, superb welds. I really like the way yours came out and may eventually overcoat the bedliner with Duplicolor Graphite Wheel Coating. How is the paint adhereing to the bedliner? I know it says it is paintable, just wasn't sure about it though. The graphite would be a better match to the Night Armor color but the black bedliner color would compliment the body trim like door handles, mirrors, body side molding, etc. Guess I'll have to wait until I get 'em finished and proped up under the X to see for real what it's going to look like.

It was interesting painting over the bedliner for sure, and the Duplicolor graphite is a kind of metal flake finish. So, I did lots of reading over at thenewX, and painted over the bedliner. The first couple of coats came out kinda bumpy, but once a few of the coats built up, the color really looked great. Keep in mind when you are using the Graphite wheel paint that you want to spray relatively close, as a matter of fact unusually close for rattle can painting. The paint will have a wet, smooth look, almost to the point of dripping/running, but it doesn't. You will see what I mean when you are spraying...it almost looks like pencil lead graphite kind of moving around in the paint.
Also, if you make a mistake, just let it dry and sand over and repaint.
I had placed the sliders on plastic bins to paint the side that faces out, and when I moved them to paint the bottoms, the top wasn't quite dry, so on my drivers side I have a nice imprint of the terry cloth towel that I placed underneath to prevent scratching it. Oh well, when I get back from Utah, I might tackle it again. Also, take a look at how your driver's side slider lines up in the front, as I had to Dremel out the upper and lower holes in the frame. It seems to be a common issue, as some of the Xterras must have been drilled differently.
Good luck and post up some photos once you get them on.

Thanks for the paint tips. Not totally sure if I'm going to paint them or just leave them with the bedliner finish.
As for hole alignment, you would be amazed at how much fitment variance there is from one Jeep Wrangler to the next. Qualtiy Control at its finest.
