Greetings,
My idle sometimes slightly increases and then seems to fluctuate between the 750 - 850 rpm spot.  I was thinking it may be the MAF.  I remember seeing a "How to" post on XOC about cleaning it but I didn't have any luck with the search.  Anyone have any tricks / suggestions etc. for cleaning the MAF or any other thoughts on what would cause the idle to fluctuate?
Thanks.

Go to Pep Boys or whatever; there's a spray can of MAF cleaner.  Easier than the q-tip and alcohol bit.  MAF is held in the air intake tube by two Philips head screws.  Remove, spray clean, replace.  Do not overtighten.

There's also a separate sensor near there with two wires.  Pull, give a spritz.  It'll be blue in the middle when clean.

Change the fuel filter, then dump a can of seafoam in the tank before a long drive.

Don't know where you are on plugs, cap and rotor, but if they're old, might be good to do as well.

I like sammiches.  And bacon.  Sammiches with bacon.  And chips.  Lots of chips.
