I just read that the 2002 Nissan Quest mini-van with the VG33E 3.3L V6 came with a hi-output 125A alternator.  Has anyone else tried this upgrade?  I think I might tackle this one next what with 8 offroad lights on my x and 12" sub/amp combo, I could use the juice.

i dont have any pics, but it looks just like our alternator, only a bit larger. you dont need anything special. just go to a parts store and ask for a quest alternator from the VG33E. i need some brut strength to get it in there, but it went in. there is a how to on clubxterra.org i believe

here, i didn't want to "quit on you"  Roll Eyes. i didn't have to do any trimming on mine that they mention and it fits fine.
