With help from Bobby we took off the engine, trans and t-case skids this weekend so I could have the X serviced.  The transmission and t-case plates were fairly clean, pretty much what I expected. What I found under the engine skid was quite amusing.

The engine skid had a very thick layer of oily mud (the oil did not surprise me too much), but also a whole bunch of palm kernels (or whatever they're called) and other debris. I guess I'm lucky something  didn't start growing in there. Most of this stuff looks like it's been there since Tom lead us through that smelly swamp at Carrizo Marsh.

I can see them Bruce, they are small, you have to click on them to open full size, but they are there on my web browser.  Maybe Chris will see this and have an explanation.

In any event, you're not really missing much, just some steel with a bunch of mud on it.
