Body Lift Liners
«

While looking for body lift information on the 4x4parts website, I came across these liners:
https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=117_116
It seems that the main use is to fill the visual gap between the frame and body, but are there any other benefits? Is it a necessity when lifting, or is it optional? Thanks.

I have also heard of people getting some rubber floor mat from home depot or lowes and cuting to fit using the orignal as some what of a template.
