6 Xterras went in, overcame several off road challenges, and 6 Xterras emerged (some a little battered) victorious!

Well, that was an epic Xcursion.

Thanks to everyone, it was a team effort getting through those drifts.  3 to 7 inches was a pretty converative estimate, I would guess 24 to 30 inches was a more accurate description.  I think the group that enjoyed (survived) this Xcursion should have a special "bond" (as OZ put it at the Valero gas station in Big Bear City, post run) for a long time to come.  The two stock rigs, Ed and I, had quite an initiation into the Club, and I think it was an experience that our kids will never forget.  Thanks to Joe, Craig, Oz, and Jeff for helping get us through the more challenging spots.  A great time...

No kidding . . . it could just as easily have turned out like the Donner Party from the sound of things.

Ed (Rexterra) and I actually discussed this, and made a mental note to add ketchup to the Xcursion check list...just in case.  Grin

Maybe Calico or the Panamints in March?
I like this idea. These are two places I have never been.
