Well I'm not in SoCal yet but getting orders back out to 29 stumps (again). Looking forward to getting the trip over with and I haven't even left yet. Can't wait for a meet and greet and get out on some trails. Though, I will have to forget everything I know about mud and re-learn the sand and stone. I'll trade the sands of the mojave over Iraq any day. So I just wanted to say hi. Be there in May ~ June'ish.

Welcome Shanty. Man, talk about some military buildup. No body better ever mess with this club.

well we made it. i think we hit all the major storms along the way. must have been someone showing us all the rain we will be missing. now we just have to find a house for sale. anyone got one in the 29 palms / joshua tree / yucca valley area for sale? living in a motel gets expensive!

I don't know of anyone selling but a look in the paper showed a few decent deals.  Good luck and welcome to the desert.
