How difficult is it to change the clutch on 2000X with 4WD?

there is a chance I might need a new clutch for my 2000 X 4WD V6.  Has anyone tackled this or is there a shop you would rather recommend?  Is the Centerforce Dual Friction clutch kit the best for that motor or has anyone had better succes with a different brand.  I would rather pay a bit more now and not do this again anytime soon.

Just bought the dual centerforce.  Will let you know how well it works.  It's go be a piece of cake to install as my engine currently outside of the X.  :-)

The Centerforce is better than stock if you offroad,  if not OEM is fine they last.

Lot of work because you have to pull some suspension parts such as the tbars just to get it out.  The engine bolts are tricky with the small spaces, heavy so make sure to get tranny jack.   Make sure to get throwout bearing also.

What is the word on that Centerforce clutch?  I'm thinking of running Royal Purple 75-90w in the rear diff and Mobil 1 75-90w Synthetic in the trans.  Got in the back seat now.  Will it help with the fuel economy?  I think I'm doing about 13 miles to the gallon fully loaded with tools and about 230 miles on a full tank.  Anybody else got ideas on bringing those numbers up?

Been running the centerforce II for a couple months now and I've got both good and bad news.

   Good news - It doesn't slip!  I've taken it out on the trail and the engine will stall long before the clutch slips when you let the pedal out. 

   Bad news - Because the clutch has so much more power, and I'm SOA in the rear, I've contacted a major case of Axel wrap in the last month.  And I mean major!!!  I'm building a set of track bars (hopefully this weeking) in an attempt to try and save what's left of the springs.  Even if you're SUA on stock springs this clutch could wear the springs out a bit faster, especially if you've got bigger tires and a lift.

Oh yeah, if you want, I'll sell you the SLR gear for $450.  I'm moving and I've got to sell my stuff.

I wish I could take alot of your SLR stuff of your hands but with my motor shot, I have to rebuild it the right way.  Anyways, Automotive Customizers (4x4parts.com) has the Centerforce Stg. 1 for $325 and the Stg. 2 for $350.  By far the best prices anywhere and I shopped around a bit too.
