Meet spots will be the following:

3/28- North bound Meet: 7am @ the Chevron Gas Station.
12659 Foothill Blvd Etiwanda, CA 91739, US
Exit the I15-E at Foothill Blvd and turn right, just past in-out.

3//28 - General run Meet: 9:30am @ the Afton Canyon Camp ground From the I-15 N between Barstow and Baker exit Afton Canyon Rd and head east on the dirt access road to the campground.  Afton has lots of space for camping for those that want to get early start, stay friday night.

Please remember to fill-up at the last gas [Yermo/Calico] before Afton or bring gas cans. Bring enough gear, supplies, food, water, etc for two full days on the trails.

The Mojave runs are also epic, highlight of the year overland where the scenery is the main draw, most easy easy wheelin' on various Terrain through some fun water crossing in Afton, Soda Lake unique salt flat, looks of sandy wash’s, whoop-to-do’s, etc. I’m planning on going at a nice pace but not rushing but you will take a bit of a thumping but that’s part of the adventure so keep that in mind and you will have a great time

If you want to attend you must post in this thread & keep your status updated, this is very important for this run as we need exact numbers.

3/28 Main run: Mojave Road West (my favorite part of the three) & Central on covering 88 miles and taking about 8 hours to drive.

Start at Afton Canyon (Off I-15 outside of Barstow) go up Shaw Pass, Cross Soda Lake, through the lave beds, mail box to Maril Springs, up to the Beale Mt through the whoop-ti-do’s.  Cedar Cyn Rd, Gove Hoks, Caruthers Canyon Road:

Camp overnight 3/28 at Caruthers Canyon at the end, great wooded spot higher up, primitive
Day runners easy exit at the Caruthers Canyon intersection continue on Mojave Rd to Lanfair Rd, Goofs to I-40.

3/29  Sun run:  East from Lanfair to US 95 or beyond (40 miles, 4+ hrs)  Take Caruthers back down to Mojave Rd, cross over Lanfair/Ivanpah, Pen can Tree, Piute Gorge, fort, petros. cross US 95 and then head out towards I-40 or finish the trail at needles cross the border.

Truly an epic run! If you haven't experienced Mojave... this is a great opportunity!

Trixie the Wonderdog, Noon, and their driver.

We'll be camping Friday night at the Afton Canyon Camp. I plan to arrive before dark - ought to be about there about 6 PM traffic depending.

I really want to do this.  Once again I'm busy that weekend.  Going to Vegas to pit crew for team xterra at the Mint 400.  Should be fun.

BAHHHH.... I wanna do this run.... but too many trips this month..already Shaver lake snow run leaving Friday 6th and then Pismo beach on 15th.
every one should install Dust lights on their trucks.... that was all that you guys could see on the trail last year when there was no cross wind.

I will be putting together a night run of this trail in a few months..... ill post up to see if any one wants to run this trail again. E

I can attest to that! Those dust lights really work! Those Hella (550's?) really shine!

Count the Quinn Family in on this one Brian.

Been on this run before, but this time we'll bring the kids.

We'll be rolling for both days.
