That's it! Thanks for posting that North Star pic again...
That 3AM shot looked like daytime. How long did you set your camera to take those pics?

I can't take credit for these two photos, they were taken by Jason (WolfmanX), but they are two of my favorites from the old site.

(Not Really) Joshua Tree, Nov 2006. A lot happened on that trip, starting with Brian getting stuck in the sand just 20 feet from the pavement, then not quite finding the trail, then Mitch shredding 2 tires, all followed by one of the most enjoyable evenings around a campfire ever, complete with stargazing through someone's telescope.

Look closely and you'll see that every truck in this photo is in reverse.

Rachel taking the more ambitious line. Back when she had a whole truck.

I have fond memories of that little dip section Rachel was on. I remember going through it after piling up tons of rocks just to make sure I have something to roll on...

Great idea Mitch, we need to get more of the old photos back.  Here are a few of mine.

I had this posted in another forum, but felt it really did belong here.

Don't let John fool you, he's actually a pretty good guy to have along on a trip, always good company. He will, however, try to do some really strange things at times. For example, we were out at Bombay Beach (Salton Sea) one time, and John spotted this old truck. I took one look at it and stepped back, all I could think of was tetanus.

John, however, had other ideas. First, he made sure no one was watching.

Then . . . he tried to drive it away.
