ok I held off a long time before I ask.  Mitch what is with the Huh of DOOM.  Did I miss something?  Huh

Maybe Mitch is planning to show off his surgery scars.  That would be scary.

So... that would be the "Scary Surgery Scars... of DOOM?"   Grin

It adds an element of danger.  Which is nice.

Looks like Bruce from Suspension.com is sending me a diff drop kit just in time for the Mod Day of Doom. Hopefully it won't be too labor-intensive and time-consuming considering there are two possible diff drop mods scheduled for that day. I will bring tools, jack, jackstands in case...

Fred, let me know if you want to caravan out there.  Same goes for anyone else from the San Diego area.

Most definitely!

I'm putting off my diff drop for now.  Let me know if you're coming so I can start sending out my address.

I don't have the diff cover gasket and don't feel like going to get it.  It's a long story.

Bummer...

My inspiration is gone...  Cry
My dreams are shattered...  Undecided
My Otterpops are melted...  Embarrassed

Well now Three. I was waiting to see how hard it is to do mitches truck. So maybe if all willing we can tag team to complete them faster. It is up to mitch since I have limited tools on hand as I do most work on base. But I am planning on helping do his first or visa versa. I dont know.

Ok Now I see mitch is holding off so I dont know the game plan now. I am traveling from Point Mugu and I need to make sure I can get my X out of Mitches driveway for sure at the end of the day. But I dont think you are going to need to crack the Diff itself so I am not seeing the need for a gasket. If this is the case I might be out as well. I dont have this gasket and The Nissan Dealers out here and more concerned with trying to sell me another X  versus getting me the parts I need....
