I broke my ABS wire again and now the light is on. Anyone (Rachel?) remember how to resolve this issue?

Just like Dan, I have nothing constructive to say either, but I do seem to recall that last time this happened I thought that you said it fixed itself after some serious bouncing or pounding. If that is the case, I could channel Rachel for you and suggest a BFH. I even have a "Rachel Approved" 4 lb. BFH if you need to borrow it. I have no idea where it should be applied though. I know that it doesn't but . . . hope this helps.

I'll ask her which hammer to use. She'll probably say the yellow one.

How do you break an ABS wire? Just curious...
The reason I asked is when I went to the dealership for service, when I was driving out, my ABS sensor came on. So I brought it back in, the guy plugged the scanner to get the code, unplugged the ABS sensor (located near the brake master cylinder under the hood), blew it out and plugged it back in... and the rest was history.

I originally cut the wires when we installed the new spring packs. I caught the wires under the u-bolt and pinched them in half when I tightened the bolt. I spliced them together using grease caps and it held for over a year. A few days ago all that ended. So today I respliced the wires by actually soldering them and then sealing it all up with shrink tubing. Once I got it all together I started the X and the light was out. I'm happy.

That's good, because she doesn't remember but the first thing she said to do was use yellow spray paint.
This was before she heard what the problem was, mind you.

That doesn't make her wrong.

The sad part is that I couldn't find yellow shrink tubing.
