This year I plan to do a 5" lift on my X. I'm gonna buy the Calmini 5" lift package and order a 5" Radflo Coilover from prg. My truck is completely stock. Other than brake lines, is there anything else i should mod or adjust before I install the lift? I read somewhere about the front differential needing to be dropped. Do you have to do that for a 5" lift?

The Dif Drop brackets come with the CM kit as well as the longer spindles. YOU WILL NEED a custom modified driveshaft otherwise you will have driveline vibrations which will toast your TC bearings (Happened to Greg at PRG). CM will give you the specs and hand ya over to JE Reel in Pomona. You'll also have to reroute your ABS line as there aren't any longer options.

So...have you started this lift project yet?  What size tires are you planning on running?
