My X is SO old. Had its first smog today. Zero ppm's across the board except for 1 ppm of HC at 25mph.

I took my truck to a near-by place and the guy refused me because of the skid plates.

Technically he wanted to charge me extra to remove them to do the visual inspection.  Roll Eyes

I drove down the road and found a cheaper place who didn't want to tear my skid plates off.

Geez, this time next year I'll have to get my third.  I'm trying to get used to the fact that my X is  coming up on the 10-year mark.

The guy smogging mine gave me some righteous stink-eye when I pulled up, but he did it.

I just had mine done the other day, also for the first time. They didn't say a word about the skids. Great service, done exactly when they said it would be. Not quite as clean as Dan's though, but looks like it passed easily.

I have a guy pretty close by that I take all my cars to. Always does a good job with no hassles
