Okay so I was able to install my Hefty sliders and rear bumper.  I have a buddy that was going to help with the skids, front bumper and winch but our days off don't work together.

So is there someone out there with experience installing Hefty front bumper, skids and Warn winch?  The bumper has no instructions, the skids have some I can print off the interweb so I'm hoping for someone that has done this before to make this go faster.

I'd be happy to return the favor with help on your X, supply food, beverages and the rest is negotiable.  The parts have been sitting for a while now and I just want to get them installed.  I have most weekends off, I live in Covina but can travel if needed.

Thanks.

This would be a great opportunity for a Mod Day!  Especially since most people have several days off in a row during the holidays.  I would start with Thanksgiving weekend or any weekend after that

I'd be happy to help any way that I can.  I have no experience with Hefty front bumpers though.
I'm currently waiting Roll Eyes for my Shrock front bumper and could probably use the experience with seeing what we have to do?    I have installed my Shrock rear bumper and sliders by myself, so have some experience too.

Propose a date and time.   I'll like to try and help.    Hey I have three Shrock skids in my garage that I need to install, so maybe we can reciprocate right out of the blocks.  Grin

I would definitely come hang and help in any way that I can! I have no experience with any of it, but could definitely use an excuse to get out of the house and hang with some experienced Xterra peeps!

Hey thanks for the offers and the mod day suggestion.  I'm gone this weekend so that's out for me and I started crying to my buddy and it looks like he might help me out soon, still working out the details.  I still have a bunch of things to do on the truck and wouldn't mind helping others if I was able so the mod day sounds interesting.  Never done one of those before....anyone have mod day experience?

MaxPower...I helped Arch'sX with his Hefty front bumper install, and installed my own Shrock front and rear bumpers.  Please PM me if you would like help so I can arrange my schedule accordingly.

Backatchya Max, I just got back from a weeks road trip, so I need to check my work schedule and also check on a day trip out to Borrego next weekend.

Hey Max, looks like I have this Sunday evening available if that works for you and the others assembled.  Let me know how your install plans are working and shoot me a reply here or a PM.

Thanks!

Well as luck would have it I was able to take the day off and my buddy was able to help me.  We managed to get the front bumper, winch (including having a bracket welded up to mount the solenoid) and all the skids.  I didn't think we would be able to do it all in one day but we just kept at it and it was done.

So a big thanks to everyone that offered to help out especially to GhostX and Oz who I PM'd with.

I still need to do lights and CB so if there is a mod day I'll be happy to help out with what I have learned today.

I am up for helping anyone with any mods. Just post up, I've got time, tools and a pretty good skill set. Looking to get more involved in local Xterra community
