Guys, I'm looking for some push nuts or cap nuts for a 5/8" unthreaded shaft. McMaster-Carr and Grainger have them but I would have to buy 25-50 and I need 2. The places around here selling hardware only have up to 1/2". Any help? Mail me some and I'll mail you $2?

Do you have an Osh near you?  The one by me is surprisingly well stocked and everything is sold per piece.

If I pull by there I'll look.

I've got an Osh about 40 miles from here which I'm not opposed to going to because I can do some other stuff in town. I've got a pretty good local hardware near me but they stopped at 1/2" like Lowes and HD.

The place down the street had some.  These are 5/8, for a round shaft.  I picked them up for you.

You're not looking for the ones with a hex insert are you?

Try McFaddendale hardware.  I work in construction and I've been to a lot of hardware stores.  These guys have the biggest on-hand inventory anywhere.  You can also try SoCal nuts & bolts in Upland, CA..
