And here's the rear bumper.  Chris said he's only made a few with jerry can holders and this was the first to add a hi-lift with the jerry cans.  So I'm either an innovator or an.... well let's just go wit innovator.  As you can see I still need to get some jerry cans and to wire up the license plate light.

Looks like Chris fixed the "tire tilting back" problem I saw some people on thenewx complaining about.

Nice shot of the back side....  the hi-lift fits in there perfectly.  I had it up on the roof rack using the x-towers and the "how-to" off thenewx.  It worked great until I went off road.  No matter how much I tightened down on the bolt the rear mount would slide down.  It's a heavy jack!  So I think I'll use the mounts for an axe.  I have a shovel on the other side so that will even the top side out.

Thanks for the postive comments.  I've been planning this truck and mods for a few years now.....ever since my money pit 4runner started causing me problems.  So it's nice to finally see things coming together.

I've been thinking about getting the front bumper.  How long was your lead time?

Looks good.

How are those can holders supported?  Since a full metal fuel can can weigh better than 40 pounds, and there's a lot of twist/flex/vibes on a swingaway, I'd make sure they're well supported.

5 months.  He makes bumpers, skids, etc. in batches so my order was delayed as each item was completed for a full order.  The idea being if you just ordered a bumper it might arrive quicker.

They are supported fairly well from the looks of it but I haven't tried it out with full cans yet.  In fact I'm very happy with the quality of the products, nice welds, powder coat and bends.  There is a lot of weight there and if you open the swingaway you can move it up and down and see a little flex.  I haven't tried doing that with any other bumper so I'm not sure how it compares.
