Haven't really been out wheeling too much lately, but the other day my girlfriend asked when we were going to go on that pie offroading trip again. Seems like it had made a good impression on here.

just thought I would share.

Hey Scott, how have you been? I have not been wheelin since the Rattlesnake Canyon trip. I have been on a few road trips down I-40 and every time I pass Mitchell Caverns exit I smile and remember that epic trip.

Doing well. Just been busy a lot of weekends.  Got a new hobby too RC cars. That has been fun.

That was a great trip and we sure were able to salvage that one. The Mitchell Caverns meeting was so random. I remember standing there eating my apple and then I finally noticed your Xterra. I thought there was no way that was anyone.

Still want to find those lava tubes one of these days.

How is the fridge holding up?

"Pie Off-Road" that sounds like Anza Borego.

The weather is just about ready so we can start up into the deserts again. I'm so tempted to get out this coming weekend - almost went last weekend but something came up.

Hey Scott.  That trip was the Fish Creek / Sandstone Canyon trip that we do every year in November. So that people can plan ahead, I'm thinking of setting that up for the weekend before Thanksgiving this year.

Actually, I generally stop and pick up a pie or 2 on many of the Anza Borrego runs that I set up. Just keep an eye on the Xcursion Forum once it cools off some. Anything I set up is going to be generally easy, more or less stock friendly, and with lots of great scenery. Great for bringing along significant others who might not otherwise want to go.
