I found several online by searching "Nissan Brush Guard".  I would highly recommend not buying a brush guard.  Since they mount low on the X, any minor front end contact is multiplied by the guard.  There are several companies making replacement winch bumpers that look great (Calmini, Hefty, Shrock).

This happened to a member of TheXterra.  Scroll down about a quarter of the way.  Link:

^^^X2.

Like Hardrock453 stated, if you want front end protection that really protects, look at some of the aftermarket steel bumper/brush guard options offered by these companies:

http://www.arbusa.com/

http://www.shrockworks.com/

http://www.purenissan.com/

Also, check the For Sale boards over at thenewx.org, as I have had some personal success scoring Shrockworks front and rear bumpers over there at about a 40% discount and no fabrication wait time.

Good luck!

Ususally, chrome is NOT an option.  Wink

The ShrockWorks is nice but expensive and there is normally a waiting list for them. Several of the members here have them and they're top notch stuff. If you're looking to just mount some lights there are some light bars that fit into the design of the front bumper well and hold a couple of lights.

Yeah, stay away from the brush grills.  A lot of guys here don'T like the Calmini bumper but its just like the Shrock one and readily available.  Try 4x4parts.com, ruggedrocks.com, calmini.

I have the brush guard on mine--it came with it.  It's very weak but it saved the stock plastic bumper on one occasion.  The problem is when your going up or down a ledge the bumper will want to scrape across the ground--and when it comes down to it, the bumper can't take even half the weight of the truck so it will just buckle under pressure.  the gen 1 (mine) has a higher front bumper than the gen 2 so I would image the issue would be way worse on the gen2.  I got a nice dent in mine from the time it was put to the test, i was going less than 1mph over some rocks and ran up on one of the rocks and it just put a nice fold in my bumper as if it were plastic--but it gave me enough warning to stop and pull back and I got no other damage (it could have been far worse if I didn't have the bumper-guard and instead just heard the crunch of my plastic bumper putting up no resistance against the rock--it would have been too late).

The ARB and the Shrock bumpers are definitely the way to go if you have the moolah.
