I know many people may not enjoy hunting but for some its a way of life. I am not trying to make this a debate on that at all Smiley

So where do you all dove hunt? This will be my first season not hunting more north in the Owens valley. So where do you all hunt down here? I know riv co. Has some places but mostly its private property.

I'm looking for a nice place to go around the 8th - 11th if anyone's interested in joining me, or showing me a place. Thanks in advance!

Hey Kyle, long time no hear. Never got into hunting but would love to go hit the trails with you again someday. Maybe we could try Mojave again, we just need to get an earlier start. Roll Eyes

I haven't dove hunted since I was a kid.  Grew up doing it in Mexico.  In fact I just completed the required Hunter Safety Course for a trip I'm doing in Idaho this October so I'm ready to get my license.  There is hunting in Carrizo and Tejon Ranch area, but I don't know when those are open.  I'm thinking Tejon might be private though.

Check out ca.gov. and go to upland game fields it will show the fields
that fish and game plant .  These fields bring in a lot of bird ,  but I've only
shot these areas on opening day so  I not sure about the days you want to go.

If you want to do some tune up shooting the wife and I shoot at Prado shooting park
usually sun. in the a.m. ( skeet & Trap )

Too hot to go out.

Next month I'm thinking up north.

October or November the Mojave ... then the Bradshaw.

Don! How Yah been! Is love to go wheel again some time!

Blackx Yah, I've heard of tejon once or twice thanks for the tip.

Mutphyx excellent, I have used the site and tried a few of those plots, they really are only best on opening day! Which is a bummer when u work all of opening week.

And Paul, I doubt you mean hunt, but a trail in Oct could be in my plans soon.!
