Just putting a feeler out there.

I'm no longer using my Yakima roof basket and seeing if anyone might be interested in it.

It's an older loadwarrior (bought new and installed in 2005) with the center basket extension.  Also features two Yak axe/shovel mounts and a few custom mounts I made to carry three NATO fuel cans, a rear light, ham antenna, CB antenna and bike fork mount and the factory windscreen.

Also possibly available with it are four crossbars with the large mounts that attach to the factory rack making for a very secure connection.

It's faded a bit from being in the sun and has a couple of spots where the paint/metal is a tiny bit bubbly where I drilled through to mount the antenna mounts.  The can mounts are heavily overbuilt through a large piece of 3/8 aluminum plate; totally functional but the upper steel can mounts could use a sand and repaint.

If anyone's interested, let me know and maybe we can work something out.  Thanks.

Here's a shot of it on the X from the last Rattlesnake Canyon thread:

why ya gettin' rid of it?  Getting a new one?  I kept seeing your truck again in Culver City at the end of last mo.  When I lived in Long Beach I'd see it all the time--seein' that bad boy was the reason I went with the '02 SC when I finally bought one LOL.

Are you going to be moving to Lake Arrowhead now too?  lol.

I'm selling it because I've changed to a different type of fuel can and modified my rear swingaway to hold them.  I'm also building a different roof rack entirely and getting rid of the factory tubes.

While the Yak basket system I made worked great, and still does, I'm just not using it anymore.

So then I take it you still have it...   I'm definitely interested.  How about we just trade trucks?  Wink  Mine doesn't have a roof-rack so you'll be all set!

How much you lookin' to get for it?  I'm not sure when I'll be back down in Culver City but my office is over there so I'm bound so show up some day...   I go to whittier pretty often so maybe I can make a trip down there to pick it up next time I'm in the valley.   If someone else wants it right away go for it...    I'll post a message on here a couple days before I plan to come down and you can let me know if you still have it or not.

Do you still have the rack? Do you know roughly what you want for it?

Sorry for the late response; I just noticed this.  It's been sold.
