I am curious to see what everyone is running. I was lucky enough to find the offroad package for my station wagon, err X. It came with HD Bilsteins. I think they ride like crap most of the time, although they do great offroad. I was looking around  and it appears that right now the only complete set I can get are the Radflo.  Who likes them, and why. Tell us what your running and why. Need some imputs since for me this is an huge expense.

Hehe, station wagon. Cheesy  I run Bilsteins 20% stiffer.  I have nothing to compare them to although I think the Radflos look really cool.  My X rides like a truck, the way I like it.

Radflos in the front and Bilstiens in the rear. Handles the rough and corners like a sports car on the pavement.

I'm running Icon Vehicle Dynamics coil overs up front with the heavy duty valving forward and Bilstein (aftermarket) back aft. I'm also running rear lift shackles and a mini-spring pack aft to help with the TMS* syndrome.

I wish the ones back aft were a bit more stiff.

I dont know the base model of your rig. But was there an marked difference with the Rads? I dont really know how well my X drives  since all I have even had are Bils, and KYB.  Perhaps I need to go test drive an S or something.

Does anyone know how often if any do the rads have to be rebuilt?

I think I posted my set up recently on another thread, but I'm running Rads both front and rear.  I also went with custom leaf packs from Deaver and PRG adjustable shackles.  Finally had a chance to get the X dirty this weekend with some driving on the north end of Death Valley.  Doing 40ish mph over the washboard on Hidden Valley Road and the ride was very smooth.  On-road driving took a little getting used t (as is the case with any stiffer suspension I suspect), but now it doesn't bother me unless I'm stuck in the 60 - 70 mph range, at which point I definitely "feel" the road a lot more.

As for rebuilding, I bought my coilovers used off of someone on TheNewX, they had like 35K miles on them.  I shipped them down to RadFlo and they rebuilt the pair for $200 total, and it only took like 3 days or so -- had them delivered on a Thursday, then drove down and picked them up on the following Wednesday (same day I picked up my leaf packs from Deaver so I was in the area).  I found Glenn from RadFlo very easy to deal with, great customer service there.

Same here with same results. Except I have the Extended Radflos for Dif Drops and 10" travel 5125 Bilsteins
